Two of the spot illustrations I did for Creative Loafing.
I got to illustrate the past issue of Creative Loafing, an amazing alt weekly out of Atlanta!
I illustrated the cover and some spots for the annual covers issue, where Atlantans send in question and the CL staff answer them.
For the cover I was thinking about various ways in which ppl looked for answers, so I thought of reading tea leaves. And I wanted the tea cup to rest on a very graphic pattern so that the issue looked good in the magazine box displays!
The force is strong with this one (at New York Harbor)
It’s a velvet poster. ELEGANCE! #earlybirthdaygift
This is how Amanda and I won the half marathon…with jazz hands and pizzaz
Delicious virgin bacan
Lu Rou Fan, Taiwanese braised pork over rice.
I was born in Taiwan but raised in Atlanta, GA. I go back to visit family in Taiwan fairly regularly, and I ALWAY make sure to have many bowls of Lu Rou Fan. It’s a simple braised pork sauce over rice. It’s the perfect comfort food and so easy to make at home too! I usually make a batch and keep it in the fridge. Also great with noodles too!!
My favorite person Neil degrasse Tyson talking my worst nightmare, water bears. Ahhhhhhhh!! No whyyy
I just learned how to make a gif…and look what I decided to do. I’m so lame.
